I saw them last night in Sheffield.
McCulloch still has his swagger and attitude. They played half hour then went for a twenty minute break, then played for an hour.
He talked a lot of shite after every song, and that was just the bits you could understand. Some blokes at the front must have said something to upset him (probably turn the lights on, because he been in silhouette everytime I've seen them) so he got them kicked out half way through a song.
I was still a good gig though, I enjoyed it.

He still plays ,especially his solo stuff.
The Tingle Tangle was downstairs in the old Blackbird Cafe (60s) in Back Piccadilly next to the Sasha's entrance. Might also been called Gaetano's (ice cream) in the 80s I think, and is now the goods entrance to Superdrug. Just a bit before my time but have done some research on old MCR venues 70/80s.
