I keep seeing clowns and bigots from Darren Grimes thru 30p Lee to JRM saying we must leave the ECHR to stop the small boats. The dimwitted hard of thinking morons will buy this without any awareness of what it does or what it means. Yes they will buy the story of EU judges interference in UK events but just like passport stamps. queues and restrictions on time in the EU they bought as "EU punishing the UK" but the simple facts are as well as jurisdiction in the UK they have jurisdiction ( obvs ) in the EU. Withdrawal from the ECHR would be like making ourselves even more of a 3rd country. At the moment as a member state of the ECHR agreements you enjoy all the benefits - leave and you have no cover so if an EU country wants to arrest you wants to kick you out based on protective characteristics say age, sexuality or religion you have no recourse to the courts.

However people in Tamworth - as far as you can get to the sea - can get riled enough about small boats to think we must leave the ECHR then will lose their shit when Orban's Hungary locks up their gay son and they have no recourse to any court protection.
 
Well, for starters, it's not the ECHR, but our membership of the Council of Europe that protects our human rights.

There are more than enough publications written by senior members of the tory party that want to rid us of our basic rights, and it has to be said, they, along with the right wing media, have played a blinder gaslighting a section of the population into thinking the only way forward is for us to forego those rights so we can stop illegal asylum seekers entering the country.

The current government have stopped those asylum seekers entering the country in a safe manner, so they are easily spotted entering the country in small boats, they have stopped processing their applications so their numbers are increasing, and they have taken the decision to house them in hotels in town centres.

Everything about them must be visible, a drain on our resources, and a threat to our way of life, the only solution of which is for us to remove ourselves from the Council of Europe so we can treat them like shit.

Well, the tories don't give a stuff about the asylum seekers, because they are using them as pawns in a political game to rid the whole population of the UK from a decent living, and the key point in all of this which should be considered is if we leave the Council of Europe, everyones human rights will be shattered, but the asylum seekers will be protected by our membership of the UN!

Asylum seekers will have more rights than the rest of us.

I watch Phil, Max, and Truth to Power.

They are great analysts of what is happening, and Phil in particular is a genius at disassembling the lies the tories spout all the time. Of course I watch him. I've posted videos of his on here on numerous occasions, and he has it spot on on all fronts. I wouldn't be able to write anything like I do on here without his and the other vlogers I have mentioned pointing things out in such a measured way.



That isn't going to be reported in the Daily Mail or by the BBC.

Thatcher was instrumental in founding the single market and customs union, Churchill was instrumental in protecting human rights, but the shower of shit now ruining all our lives don't care about that woke nonsense.
