They both play consistently for (like it or not) one of the biggest teams in the world in the toughest league in the world. So yes, my point remains, I think they are both playing at a high level.

The narrative is now being painted in its usual form when we try to sign anyone of note.

Blues need to keep their powder dry the next few days, reading and listening the usual spoon-fed crap.

I genuinely believe United are not in the current equation, and dropped out weeks back.

I base that on David Gill's recent comments about history over cash, our courting of Hazard.

The stakes are such, United cannot even afford to take it very far. The fee is huge and wages are way beyond anything barring Rooney.

Hazard wants a quick conclusion, I don't think United can clear the dead wood in time to even justify a tangible offer.

Chelsea may have come late to the party, but I'm pretty relaxed. The agent is being a clown but so was Nasri's.

United won't pay the agent fees, Chelsea have plenty of ongoing issues to resolve.

We are Premier League champions and Bobby is coming back today to finish the job.

Hazard really isn't THAT good you load of fucking wierdos.

If we were talking about Messi I could maybe understand the amount of freaking out but he is not anywhere near that level.

Whoever signs him aren't suddenly going to become world beaters because of Eden Hazard.

he may be a twat, but he's fucking amazing, for 21 years old no less. Even if we get him I don't get the feel this will be one of those long-time transfers, he's destined to play for all the big clubs, Milans, Real, etc.

City could sign Mike Sumerbee but that wouldn't mean he would be playing at top level. The fact they are playing consistently for one of the biggest teams in the world means nothing but the fact that their team was not able to purchase top level players on their positions.

They are barely able to play a full game, Scholes still looks solid in time he gets but Giggs was liability for them for most of this season. Players can't play at top level when they're 35+, not even Zanetti is good as he was.

Someone's quality is what I consider playing at top level, not the club he plays for. And again, nobody can't play at top level quality with age of 35+. And especially, that can't be said for someone who's 21 only.
