We have the Yaya, Silva and Aguero factor:
Players who were really good for their previous teams but have turned into some of the world's best in their positions under the guidance of City.

We have the long term manager factor:
Roberto is clearly here for the long haul, Alky Ferguson has a few years left at best(I'd estimate 2)

We have the Vincent Kompany factor:
What young up and coming player isn't going to want to play under the guidance of their national team captain

Then there's Paddy V, Clichy and Nasri, players who have came from the French league who will help him settle into his surroundings.

Add on top of that; Premier League Champions, got further in Europe than United did last season(not much further but further all the same) and better wages.

These are all the City "factors"
Chelsea have the Champions League factor and maybe a decent-ish history of taking players from the French league and developing them.

IF Hazard has to make the choice out of all 3 teams, for his development, the obvious choice is City. If he was purely interested in his development as a player, he would go to Arsenal and he would accept less wages for a starring role in the team but we all know that's not what he's after, he's after a chance to shine on the biggest stage of them all and he can most definitely do that in our team more than any other.

Hazard may well develop the same way at City but it's obvious to anyone (that isn't deluded) that for the moment we have a far superior track record of giving young players time and helping them realise their potential.

Don't City have the most academy graduates of any premier league team?

Check your actual quote - the bold bit. Can't see anywhere in that short sentence anything at all about him having the opportunity to play with the League Champions, and some of the best players in the world...Aguero, Silva, Toure et al - just the reference to money. Sorry I failed to read your real meaning into that.....

I just meant that I think he'd find it harder to get into the position he wants in the City team, but the extra money you'd offer might still bag him. I didn't mean it in the way you thought, only an idiot would think a player is just signing for the money at City these days, it's quite clear you will be competing for trophies.

The Madrid team is better and he reportedly turned them down last Summer when Zidane was pushing hard for a transfer, all because he didn't think he wouldn't play regularly or in his best position.

Again, I never said City wouldn't be an exciting prospect for him. But I think United would be too and the possibility of playing more regularly and in his favored position (along with the Ferguson's track record of developing youth) he could possibly chose us.

I think you're exaggerating with 'health problems', it was a heavy nose bleed! I reckon he'll be around for a few years yet.

I think someone said it already but if a player is looking for stability then we are the perfect choice.

Ferguson's got 1 or 2 years left and then there will be chaos at united.
Chelsea could get a great manager but it's risky.

Both of those teams have to do massive rebuilding. At least a lot more than us. Again that brings risk.

And whether the player realizes or not there is a great togetherness between our playing and coaching staff. I can't imagine the same at united when Rooney is about. Chelsea perhaps have a good atmosphere but for long when players could be soon chopped and shipped out.

All in all I think we are the right choice for a player looking for a place to enjoy football.

It's not even true as they all offer the same wages really but...
