So do you honestly think he is coming to you?

Absolutely no idea mate. It seems like Eden Hazard is the only one that knows that.

Some signs look good. IMO he would have more chance of playing in his preferred position with us (and more regularly) and we do have the Ronaldo factor. It must surely be a massive attraction for Hazard to see how we developed Ronaldo the way we did. And then there are a couple of reports in France that he's leaning towards us, and Sky reported the same thing. On the other hand it's likely that City and Chelsea will have offered significantly more money.

As I said though, I have no idea where he'll end up, completely up in the air.

What is this Ronaldo factor you speak of ? what does it even mean ? He was always going ot be a great player regardless of who he played for, he just needed to work at it. It doesnt mean that if Hazard signs for you the same thing is going to happen, plus Ronaldo played with some good players, not like who Hazard is going to play with......

I think anyone would develp more playing with Aguero, Silva, Yaya, Kompany, don you think ?

I disagree. Football is littered with highly talented kids turning into failures. Ronaldo had to be coached and managed properly. He gives great credit to Sir Alex for turning him into the player he is today.

I think he'd also develop quite well by playing with the likes of Rooney, Nani, Valencia, Scholes, Vidic etc.

He would fit in both sides. Playing behind Rooney or playing behind Aguero for us. If he joins us I do think Nasri's game time will be more limited though. But hazard Silva and Yaya supporting Aguero sounds good for us!

Oh you were asking the United fan haha my bad.
It does sound good however I think Mancini will rest Silva much more he has been struggling with an injury through much of last season. At the end of last season it was Silva coming off not Nasri.

True when Silva needs a rest Nasri will play. Nasri and Hazard or Silva and Hazard. I think Hazard will be the constant if he comes I think but its all about opinion.

but number 7 guys, we are all supposed to wank on that iconic shirt, lol

Why? Who wore it?

from sadcafe:

It's pretty clear the 7 shirt of United is iconic and world carry weight any brand would want.

Best 7
Cantona 7
Beckham 7
Ronaldo 7

He'd be daft if he didn't want to write his own chapter in the shirt's history.

Yeah Hazard wouldn't learn anything off of Silva, Nasri, Aguero, Yaya, Tevez

It was significant, just like the other 37 games.

I don't think Mark minds people mentioning it in that context, but trying to bait a United fan with it in the middle of a transfer thread about Eden Hazard is cringeworthy in fairness.

Fuck me sideways - the Ronaldo factor - what even is that? So he goes to you for purely footballing reasons, but would only come to us for the money? Like the rest of our squad? You are indeed mightily deluded raggy boy.

Point out where I said that he'd only go to City for the money?

Like it or not, we have a great track record of developing young players and turning Ronaldo into the superstar he is today is a famous example of that.

Hazard may well develop the same way at City but it's obvious to anyone (that isn't deluded) that for the moment we have a far superior track record of giving young players time and helping them realise their potential.

Who wouldn't want to play in a team like ours? Its a joy

Goalkeepers = Joe Hart (ENG)

Defenders = Vincent Kompany (BEL) Gael Clichy (FRA) Joleon Lescott (ENG) Micah Richards (ENG) Pablo Zabaleta (ARG)

Midfielders
Gareth Barry (ENG) Nigel de Jong (NED) James Milner (ENG) Samir Nasri (FRA) ) David Silva (ESP) Yaya Toure (CIV)

Strikers
Mario Balotelli (IT) Edin Dzeko (BIH) Sergio Aguero (ARG) Carlos Tevez (ARG)

Management
Roberto Mancini, Brian Kidd, David Platt, Attilio Lombardo

For all the credit SAF gets for Ronaldo, where is the criticism for Anderson. He has ruined that lad, he was a prodigy at Porto and Fergie has imploded the lad.

Fergie is losing his touch. Beckham spoke up and he was sold, Stam and Nistelrooy too, even Keane. Rooney gets a pass after showing the club up more than any of the others, that's all that needs to be said.
