No need for that. They're giddy enough without you trolling the thread, so either put a link up, admit your lying or you're taking a break for the evening.

Rags on sad cafe are very worried that when Dave Whelan's reports of Fergie's retirement at the end of the season leaks out it will damage their chances of getting Hazard.
Fergusons'close friend Dave Whelan thinks Ferguson will retire after next season:
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/152273.html?CMP=OTC-RSS" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/st ... MP=OTC-RSS</a>
Sir Alex Ferguson will step down as Manchester United manager at the end of the 2012-13 season to preserve his health, according to Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan.

Ferguson, 70, has been at the United helm since 1986, leading the club to incredible success during his tenure which has included 12 Premier League titles.

The Scot has toyed with the idea of calling time on his coaching days, announcing plans to do so at the end of the 2001-02 campaign, but then decided to stay on as Red Devils manager. Although in December 2011 he did set a timeframe when he expressed his hope that he will be in charge at Old Trafford for three more years.

Whelan, however, believes his close friend will step down at the conclusion of the 2012-13 season after suffering a slight health scare in recent days, telling ESPN: "After next season, Sir Alex will call it a day. The pressure is telling, especially when you are at the top for so long.

"The older you get the harder it is to cope with all that pressure, and eventually it will affect you. Sir Alex is resilient and I know he will want to carry on until he drops, and I respect what he has achieved as everyone does.

"I am sure his intention was to carry on for two or three, maybe even more years, but he has had a little scare in the last week or so and that tells me he will think very hard, and realise there is no point trying to carry on.."

Both City and Rags even money ..... we are 6/4 for RVP

Just goes to show nobody really knows where he is going.

We might get som fresh quotes after tonights Belgium game although the England game will seem more glamorous for him to confirm his future.

Dead funny. You should do stand up.

if i did stand up , stood on a chair , climbed on a scaffold and reached veryvery high on my tippy toes, i might be tall enough to give your 6ft 5 inch bonce a benny hill type slap
Not the face, anything but the face.

Not been on here till last night lads, just been checking up on the news relating to the messiah!!! that is Hazard. I believe now that he is stating he wants to play in the number 10 shirt when he moves to his next club.

Due to the fact that Edin is our number 10 and he could well be on his way...is this another hint being dropped by Hazard that he is actually coming to City??? (shrek is number 10 at the scum and can't see him dropping his squad number)

I have to admit that i have never seen this lad play but i will obviously be watching the England v Belgium game the following Saturday to see if what is being banded around by himself lives up to the expectation.

That is probably the most sensible and relevant post of this entire thread. Particularly since Dzeko plays as a second striker rather than trequartista ala shrek, this latter is I beleive the role Hazzard is referring to.

Ridiculous amount of people talking absolute shite about him saying he wants to wear the number 10 shirt. He was talking about playing in the number 10 role, i.e as a second striker or behind the front man. He may of suggested something about the shirt although I'm sure he didn't, but wearing the number will have absolutely no bearing on his decision whatsoever and to suggest otherwise is stupid.

Given that Hazard already thinks he is calling all the shots, making demands of us, Chelsea and united before he has even signed, does anyone else think we might be better off leaving him well alone and targetting a player who isn't quite as self obsessed? He comes across as someone who is going to be a mighty pain in the arse to whoever signs him.

Hazard IMO, knows exactly where he wants to go and who he want's to sign with.

and so does his money grabbing, greedy bastard of an agent demanding agent fee's which basically is fucking laughable.

doesn't sound like he gets in any trouble off the pitch and led the league in assists, so don't think he's that self-obsessed.

What has getting into trouble off the pitch got to do with anything? If he is already demanding how often he must play and what position he must be played in then that doesn't bode well imo. I'd rather have a player who was prepared to play any role that was required for the good of the team/club. And that's not even mentioning all the cryptic shit and playing clubs off against each other that has been going on.
