Hopefully Vinny has worked his magic at the Belgium camp :)
I have a feeling VK will stay silent he is such an honourable gentleman he will let Hazard make this the most important decision of his career on his own. I am no longer optimistic of him coming to us.

Got to have faith in Captain amazing. He will have probably been asked by Hazard certain things

Anyone else find it a bit too convenient that he's said this the day after the Chelsea story broke, and the stuff about his agent being in London to tie up some loose ends :/

City and the scum also have offices in London, too.

Whats you gut feeling?

Would mean nothing, but I would again ask why City have kept their own counsel, if they were aware of a bad outcome.

I'm happier to believe this has simply come down to a spur-of-the-moment decision, Hazard's own gut, of which, only his family will now be privy to.

If the Tweets are bonifide, it again shows the contradictory nature of the boy and this entire process.

He was adamant he would give himself until June 4th to make up his mind and make an announcement.

Maybe being with Vinny for a couple of days and reinforced his earlier held belief that we are his No.1 option.

Pretty sure he would have consulted in Vinny. Why would anyone moving to a new club not take the opportunity to question the club captain in such perfect circumstances? I wouldn't pick anyone else to sell our club over VK. The man lives and breathes city and if anyone can persuade Hazard then its him.

No are we thinking that now he's made his mind up it will be announced sooner than the friendly? Or will the original time frame stand?

i reckon he's going to chelsea.

but i don't know why, they don't even have a manager

If it is Chelsea, perhaps they're close to announcing who their next manager is and Hazard has been informed accordingly.

Also, don't underestimate that the bright lights of London might be a factor and that's something that City and United can't offer him. Even when Chelsea were perennial under-achievers in the 70's, they had a certain pulling power as they were seen to be a glamorous club in a glamorous area.

I have a feeling he's off to chelsea. Chelsea are huge in france (bigger than the rags), and i just think that will sway him. He'll be the most important player there, can travel back to belgium and france in an hour and there are already quite a few french and belgian players there.

well we will be closing this later on today

From Hazard on twitter.
