Young said:not my fault! said:I could understand him joining us or Utd but Chelsea baffles me & the reason is.. He stated he wants regular football & needed confirmation, yet who's giving him that at Chelsea? They've no idea as to who'll be in charge next season yet unless I've missed that? But if I've not then alarm bells should ring if anyone other than the manager tells you you'll be a regular IMO. A new guy could come in & not play Hazard.
He probably laughed at how weak Chelsea's wingers are and thought he could definitely make that spot his own.
So you're not a City fan like you've been pretending to be....Khanvict said:Armaan said:I stopped readind after your first line... "BEST TEAM IN EUROPE" hahahahahahhahahaahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaKhanvict said:Do you think Hazard would choose the best team in the country or the best team in Europe? City at this point have more potential for greatness than Chelsea but maybe Roman will spend on several big names this offseason. Chelsea also have other Belgian players like Lukaku (who is closer to Hazard's age than Kompany anyway). Ironically enough, I thought Hazard would have been turned off from Chelsea after seeing Lukaku's lack of playing time. Also, I thought Di Matteo was going to be given a 1-year trial? Even if he isn't, Chelsea will still get a good enough manager.

Jog on funny man.
Seems crazy, right? But the player you so badly wanted seems to have made his decision for that reason. And Man City could have easily lost to (10-man) QPR that day. Don't get so full of yourselves.

Nasri chose you over United last year after United had come off the back of a title win and you an FA Cup win.
My guess is that Nasri decided to join City over United was because, as well as the obvious much higher wages he was offered, the project of City was sold to him aswell. City, at that time, were not above United, but, they had an ambitious project whilst signing world class players was to be a continuing tradition.
Now we have Hazard, who, whilst not concrete yet, could be joining Chelsea over City. Yet, some people on here are amazed at his decision and find it daft that he doesn't want to join a team that has won it's first top flight title for donkeys years and are undoubtedly on the rise, but wishes to join a team who have just won the Champions League, and are no doubt going to splash the cash this year in a similar way that City have done in the last couple of years.
IMO, he wont have gone their on the sole proviso he is guaranteed to play the #10 role. The high wages will be a factor, the opportunity to play for the current European Champions will also be a factor AND, I'd imagine he'd have been told that not only are Chelsea going to be sending big this summer, but he may also have an idea of the managerial situation at Chelsea and who they plan on bringing in.
The Champions League win for Chelsea was essential for them this season as it now enables them to bring in a few more top players they probably wouldn't have gone for had they not won it. Talks with Hulk, Modric part 2 could reignite again, Marin in and now possibly Hazard.
There's no doubt Chelsea need to rebuild, I think Hazard would know that, and I think he knows they are doing that.
To me, Chelsea is a very logical move for him. To be honest, all 3 clubs would have been logical in their own ways.
