If Tolmie was right with his "deal done in all but ink" comment than there shouldn't be any worries, he'll sign for City.

Plenty of deals done in all but ink can be scuppered by a rival team winning the CL and adding 50k a week onto his wages to make a point ;) Not saying that's what's happened, just that his stock could very well not get any higher than it is right now, and there is a HUGE amount of hype involved which any semi-sensible player and agent would maximise as best they can.

He could end up on truly silly money for a 21 year old. Imagine if he took the lower offer and bombed in this league. Many players don't get offered the sort of contracts that are being banded about (granted they're almost certainly inflated but we could be at a stage of the 3 wealthiest clubs - one just about ;) - looking to sign this kid just to make a statement) till their mid 20s.
