Agent trying to create an auction, and the player can't say who he's signing for until a deal is done.

Where would we play him. Good player though he is, seems a signing that we don't really need? Silva, Nasri and Tevez can all play the advanced midfield role

We dont have a single player with genuine pace off the mark, it gives teams an extra option were currently lacking
Aguero? eg The goal. That was explosive, and I am not just talking about the shot.

Not convinced by Hazard. Been watching him on Youtube but I don't see anything that we don't already have and the French League is not the strongest eg Chamakh and Gervinho

Hmmm Aguero is by no means slow but has not got lightning pace, there were plenty of games last season where we had endless possesion and pressure but just seemed to lack that turn of speed, urgency, something different when the trickery of Aguero/Nasri/Silva wasnt breaking through - pace out wide gets you through packed defences - and we'll see a lot of them next year

He can't say anything until the ink is dry. Did people expect that he would be announcing his new club in front of the supporters? That would had been really disrespectful.

Well that is what he kept telling the world...

No he didn't, it's what people who don't read what he said properly have kept on telling the world.

Yeah?

Let's hear the names. Young players as well, please.
Muniain, Bale, Gotze, Neymar at the top of my head. You must be crazy if you think, or like to believe, that Hazard is unique.

You didn't post in between April 10th and today. I vote WUM.
I also vote that you're a knob. If you know I didn't post since April whatever you'll also know about my posts in the City topics where I've insisted we'd win the league, while many of you lot were calling for Mancini to be sacked and beheaded. I think I've earned my right to post here thank you very much.

Honestly, the transfer window isn't even open yet. This could drag on for a few more weeks until it get resolved. So sit back and enjoy the ride.

Window is open now. It opened at end of season.

Only open in England i believe but another two weeks before the French and others are open (I think!!!!)

PEOPLE FOR ONCE AND FOR ALL. HE NEVER SAID HE WOULD ANNOUNCE WHERE HE WAS GOING TONIGHT. JUST BS THAT WAS MADE UP BY THE PRESS.

SO CALM THE FUCK DOWN!!!!

There were plenty of claims on the Internet that he'd reveal where he was signing after the game. Probably something he said was misinterpreted.

Don't lose faith in him just because you're frustrated. Transfer negotiations are often long and drawn out. I am not overly excited about the player as it seems to me that we have plenty of attacking options.

I like our current team and players and would only look at truly outstanding players like Bale

I bet those who argued with me earlier, while insisting that we've already signed him but were waiting for the league to end before officially announcing it, look like a right bunch of fools now.

What did I tell ya, Eden Hazard is whoring himself for extra cash. He hasn't agreed to a City deal because he's waiting for a better offer, and if he gets a better offer from United/Chelsea he wont hesitate shitting all over us and our club.

It's disrespectful and I'm beginning to believe the rumors that we told him to fuck off, because no club should endure this kind of nonsensical shenanigans from a 21-year old twat who's only ever played well in the French league -- a substandard league compared to others in Europe.

Forget about this guy and sign either Bale, Muniain or anybody but him.

You said he had accepted a better offer from United. How are you right again? Nobody knows you included so calm down.
I strongly believed he had because of all the news emerging about him being United bound, and because I knew he was never interested in joining City as much as using City as a scapegoat to increase his wage and transfer fee from other clubs that are offering him contracts. It's more and more unlikely that he'll sign for us. Frankly I'm not fussed. I was saying right from morning that we shouldn't put all our eggs in one basket. There are plenty of wingers available in the world of football, many of whom are just as talented, if not better, than Hazard.

You said he'd done a deal with United and you were wrong.

With regards him "whoring" himself out, have you considered the fact that maybe Lille haven't decided who's offer to accept? Maybe one of United, Chelsea or us haven't bid for him yet, maybe they won't at all. Maybe he hasn't received personal terms from all the clubs yet, maybe he's genuinely undecided?

The media, and people who continue to read, quote and believe the nonsense they spout, have created this situation, not Eden Hazard, give the lad a break. Loads of journalists believed and reported that he was going to be announcing his decision tonight, can you now see that they actually 'know' nothing and just pass on information from sources they believe to be reliable but which I'd imagine most of the time aren't?

Once all the offers are on the table, once Lille have accepted any of those offers, once Hazard has been presented with personal terms and once he's made his decision we'll know. It may be next week, it may be the 30th of August, only one thing's for certain, by September 1st we'll all know where Eden Hazard will be playing football in the 2012/13 season.
