No. That’s not right. I wish it was but it’s not. If Eddie is out we will be down at last three that would have started + strength on the bench like Leroy. We are not a better team with 5 or so out. Of course I hope we win but saying we are a better team with them at full strength and us significantly weakened is just fucking wishful thinking.You overestimate the Dippers and underestimate us. Even if Eddy and others are missing we're still the better team and it's about time we gave all the doom merchants and city haters a gentle reminder of that! There is no better stage - if we don't then 6 or 9 points is still not beyond us with 28 games left. Go for it blues!

There is optimism and then there is dillusion. I am optimistic we get something from the game but realistic enough to say that at full strength we should shade any game with Liverpool as I consider our coach superior to theirs and our midfield better. This season, there are two players that must play if we are to compete with the very best. Laporte and Eddie, closely followed by Rodri. Our squad is not big or deep enough to cope with the loss of the three of them without consequence.
