Ed is the real reason we lost tonight.

No he isn't,he did what he always does,it's high risk but that is the way we play,the subs and inability to keep the ball finished off by mendy being stupid lost us the game

Absolutely not. We were up against a good side with 10 men for 80 minutes. Our main striker was subbed and we were never going to not concede, with our terrible defence.

Ed’s error has also damaged our chances of a win against Sheffield with his own omission and the fact the rest of the team are absolutely knackered.

I'm assuming that his red card tonight would be classed as a "professional foul" and that he'll therefore receive a one game ban, yeah?

One game ban I am sure, but with regards to the team being Knackered, do you think that the coaching team think the title had already gone. Hence the replacement of kev and the lack of pulling off sterling... say for the youthful spirit of Foden etc.

He is easy to read if your the opposition forward. He always comes out. I know it’s part of why pep bought him, but the whole back line has other issues to fix also.

Usually you only remember the mistakes but iirc (and im pretty drunk atm so might not remember it particularly well) he’s been of the line wrongfully more this season than the last two combined? Don’t remember him sweeping well at all this season compared to the previous ones where he’s been excellent.

Cant really rip Ederson to pieces , he gets 99% of those decisions right and takes the ball , although it cost us the game you have to consider how many points he has won for us.

Exactly this. Walker did it against Norwich too. Your full back should never be behind your Center backs. The cb calls/sets the line.
