There’s merits to both sides of the argument as to whether we should have kept him or not and it’s a moot point in any case but painting it as a mutual decision rather than the club cutting him loose is incorrect

Nah Kev was done, watch the home game against Liverpool from last season back. He's completely finished at the top level. Offering him a third of his current wage to play a bit part role would have been an insult so we let him leave.
