Ederson (defensive midfielder Atalanta)

Given the size of the club and that they haven’t got much to play for the lad (Rocci) from Torino is probably the most likely mid season?
This makes a lot of sense. Then again, they may have another player in mind that none of us nor the media outlets know (or have invented a rumor) about.

I'll believe it when I see it. Atalanta have a great chance of winning the Scudetto they aren't going to cut their own throats for €60m

Contract until 2027 so no imperative to sell. I can’t see it at that price. Would have to overpay and I am not sure we do that.

Think people are forgetting how difficult it is to play DM the way pep wants, rodri took over a season to settle, this lad could be awesome but it is highly unlikely he comes straight in and hits the ground running

I would really hope that Pep will realise that nobody is Rodri, so don't force them to play the same way. Throw this lad in midfield and just let him do his thing, when Rodri is back, worry about it then.

Does this look like a DM only thing that does is his tackling and intercepting, this video of him makes him look like a Gundo than a Rodri. I know it's a yt video, but he looks more like a Fernandinho/Gundo. All the videos of him are the same. Box to Box he looks more like than DM. Might be why we want him, could play next to Rodri when Rodri is back
