Think Yaya for me then Silva and Aguero. My all time favourite city player.
Really could do with a Yaya in his prime for us

Dias, Rodri, Ederson and Haaland that is one hard , tough spine of a team.Long for the days watching Fernandinho crunch someone
And Imagine Foden, Wirtz and Musiala playing off that.Dias, Rodri, Ederson and Haaland that is one hard , tough spine of a team.
Make it happen Pep.
Nah, need him for his trickery and entertainmentAnd Imagine Foden, Wirtz and Musiala playing off that.
FFS that would be special and we are a club that could make it happen.
Trade Grealish, Doku, KDB, Gundo and Phillips for the above and we go again.
I like him but Musiala and Wirtz are huge upgradesNah, need him for his trickery and entertainment
This is my 50th season of actually going to games so its difficult. Fern though, is in my top 5.
Recently watched a Youtube clip of every goal he scored for us, one thing is for sure, time and his last 6 months with us have done him no favours, I had forgotten what an absolute beast he was.Think Yaya for me then Silva and Aguero.

Does this look like a DM only thing that does is his tackling and intercepting, this video of him makes him look like a Gundo than a Rodri. I know it's a yt video, but he looks more like a Fernandinho/Gundo. All the videos of him are the same. Box to Box he looks more like than DM. Might be why we want him, could play next to Rodri when Rodri is back
Chelsea still attracted players despite not being the Champions League. It only becomes an issue if we make a habit of not qualifying for it.Atalanta beat Roma 2 nil away from home last night and remain very much in the title race. Not sure they would sell one of their stars mid season. Would probably cost us 25% premium on true value. Think getting someone in mid season who can do a job but is also good enough to be part of the squad in the mid term is going to be very difficult. We have a huge rebuild over the next 18 months so would be risky to move from our stance of not paying more than we think a player is worth ahead of a period when clubs are going to try and wrong every penny from us. Equally CL qualification is on the line and if we don’t get in then this puts us back significantly as well. I cant see Zubimendi happening mid season either or any premier league player given PL clubs all have the financial resilience to not have to sell mid season. More I think about it the harder it is to see passed Ricci and/or Douglas Luiz on loan from Juve with a big loan fee.
Chelsea attracted young players and it’s taken them a season to gel, paid over the odds for a number of them. Not sure it’s a model we should follow. I take your point in that one season out isn’t fatal but if we are replacing KDB it means no Wirtz or Musiala and means we have to gamble more. Get these wrong and a spiral starts.Chelsea still attracted players despite not being the Champions League. It only becomes an issue if we make a habit of not qualifying for it.
Still couple of major transfers thrown too. Nkunku and Sterling and to some degree Aubameyang moved without Champions League Football. They threw money at Cole Palmer. Besides that we tend not to go completely down the superstar route. We still have Pep who can negate a lack of Champions League football.Chelsea attracted young players and it’s taken them a season to gel, paid over the odds for a number of them. Fair points - not a deal breaker but a risk factor and complication we really don’t need given the next 2 transfer windows are critical to the clubs short and medium term future. The less gambling we do the better.Still couple of major transfers thrown too. Nkunku and Sterling and to some degree Aubameyang moved without Champions League Football. There could be an argument that the spiral has started, Nunes and Phillips.Chelsea attracted young players and it’s taken them a season to gel, paid over the odds for a number of them. He looks a step slow to meNot good enough on the ball for me. Nunes esque
Also will take time to get upto speed from Seria A, I understand the Bruno links, he could come straight in and make an instant impact. He looks a step slow to me
Howe mentioned they need to sell to buy in Jan…think there has been talk that tonali and Bruno are too similar to play together. Think the rumours may grow on this. Also will take time to get upto speed from Seria A, I understand the Bruno links, he could come straight in and make an instant impact.
