He seems to be good at the same things as Joe Hart. He's great and anticipating and coming out the close the angle down, his command of the area, and his positioning and ability to make himself big are good too. That latter one seems impossible for Claudio Bravo. The number of goals conceded with shots that are really close to his body is insane. Bravo's quite good at saving things a few metres away from him, but blast it right next to it and he crumples into a heap and lets it through, or get it right in the corner and he's too short to get a hand to it. As you say, Ederson hasn't really been tested, but from what I've seen, he's as good as Joe Hart in one-on-one situations, which is good, because that's one of the best things about Hart's game.Didn’t we have the least amount of shots on our goal last season and the highest rate of goals per shot? It did seem like every time a team had a shot on goal last season, it went in. Ederson improves our defence with his sweeper keeping. Haven’t seen him being tested yet, hopefully that doesn’t start against Chelsea.
