How fantastic was it when after having Antonio try and injure him by raking his studs down his achilles Ederson just looked down at his leg and then looked at the opponent before playing on. Unnerving. How many other players would have gone to ground feigning injury? Absolutely love him and finally we have a world class keeper on our hands.

Think there's a few goals he should have done a lot better with. Rooney's, Lacazette's and yesterday's are all poor attempts IMO
What do you think he should have done differently? Ball was headed forcefully and bounced making it even more difficult to judge.

He chose a good night to make a howler.
Absolutely, it was bound to happen. Especially with the high risk, high reward approach.

People need to remember just how young and inexperienced he is. Let him get these mistakes out the way now so he knows better in the future.

Playing the way he does, he will always make these mistakes. Well worth it though considering the attacking threat it creates.

Yeah definitely, there's always going to be a couple slipping through. But the more he makes now the fewer he'll make in the future with experience. Neuer was exactly the same.

No problem at all with what he did today, don't even consider it a mistake. If he stays on his line, they are two on one with him and score easily anyway as Tosin and Fernandinho didn't go with the runners. By far his best chance was to charge out, then once he realises he can't get there he does the sensible thing and avoids getting banned in a dead rubber. Doomed either way

the 2nd goal was bound to happen and he had to go, it would be goal probably even if he stayed on the line. I'm more concerned about the first one, that was pretty lazy attempt to save it, I'm still not bought on his shot saving.

He had half his mind on coming out for a cross. It was a brilliant goal

If he went for it, he would have got it in my opinion.

Showed intelligence in the fact it was not guaranteed so decided to take no risks.

I’d imagine Pep will actually be pleased with what he did even with the outcome being poor.

Couldn't agree more. He made his move, realised his only option was to bring the bloke down, pulled back to avoid a needless ban and they scored in a nothing game. The kid showed good maturity in his decision not to commit a foul and all round has had an excellent start to his City career. I was bit surprised and a little disappointed that he seemed to be getting a bit of criticism on the match thread, for something that certainly wasn't his fault.

Let's be honest here, if Bravo had played last night and done it, in the same game, same situation... how many people would be saying he "showed maturity"? Nobody. It was a mistake, it was poor. But it's fine - he's young and learning. And he's proven his value already with his performances.
