Ederson or Ortega if it goes to penalties?

There’s no 100% proof but my instinct would be to keep the goalie on as he’s been facing their shots.

May be worth considering who we'd fancy to take a pen out of the 2 keepers, Eddie may be in our first 5 takers depending who is left on the pitch after 120mins if it gets to pens....

Ortega. Sorry Eddie but Ortega is better at penalties and can spend 120 minutes getting mentally prepped for them.
Other question is who do you want taking ours? For me it's;

Haaland
Stones
Gundogan (if still on)
De Bruyne (ditto)
Alvarez

The problem is that when it gets to penalties often some of your better penalty takers aren’t on the pitch. It’s often an advantage for the team that comes from behind to equalise as they will have made attacking substitutions whereas their opponents will have probably made more defensive subs.

If it goes to pens we'll lose, i think Courtois will save more than either of them

5 sub rule will probably help us in that scenario, can't see guardiola using more than 2 if we're ahead so we'll still be able to bring a few attackers on.
Don't think they necessarily do any better than defenders in shootouts though, I've Stones in my 5 and I'd have Dias not far behind them along with Rodri. Generally it's just fresher players doing better as their legs aren't made of lead by the time the shootout starts.
My other irritation with them is that managers don't get the tired players of the 5 to go first, standing around on the halfway line won't help with tired legs, that's when the body will start to shut down.
