Ederson to miss final 2 games of the season

Who was it? I could only listen to it on the radio as I was driving but I don't even remember them talking about it.
Pape Sarr he was booked for it but he didn’t offer any apology to KDB. I remember thinking twat at the time but on reflection it’s probably not a strong enough adjective

Perspective. His boot totally missed Ederson, who then collides with Romero’s hip.

It was given as a yellow card as it was deemed a collision rather than violent conduct. Ie more Wily Boly than Sadio Mane.
This ^

Never a red in a million years, the ball was there to be won, Ederson got to the ball first and the Spuds player went into him, horrible collision but part of the life of a brave keeper.

The more I think about Eddie as our man in nets the more I appreciate him. Ortega is decent etc. but Eddie literally puts his body on the line for our club, risks serious health often so we can keep the goals against column as low as possible, for him, team and us. We are part of his thought process I bet as he goes more than the extra mile to make us happy. Deserves so much credit for his bravery. I hope he eases down and retires young to be fair as his injuries will only get worse the older he gets as I am sure he won't lose his desire to help the club. Well done Eddie Lad

At this point it’s worth noting thats he’s already played more games for City than Francis Lee, Dennis Tueart, Asa Hartford and Tony Book.
When you look at appearances now v 70's / 80's players = light and day = we play well over 20 cup games each year we used to regularly get knocked out of the FA Cup 3rd /4th rd / often 0 European games occasional qtr or semi's of league cup that was it for decades

That’s fair comment but there’s far more squad rotation now, and players move about much more.

West Ham yeah probably would have played but think Ortega would have played in cup final anyway either way Ortega is pushing Eddy for a starting place imo - too good to be a number 2

agreed, if that is the case I hope Eddie stays with us or another season as he comes across as a real winner and the squad will need that.

I thought during the spurs game it looked unfortunate, a collision with Eddie coming off worse. The more I see it the more I think it was a red card.

It should be pointed out that as well as being unable to play in the decider against the hammers, he missed out on probably a subs role in the FA Cup Final.

He's now also been confirmed as missing out on a Copa America place too.

Very sad for Eddie but I hope he comes back fitter and stronger.
