For fucks sake why do people keep using this shit analogy when it cant be proven.

Well he scored them and we won the title that is the proof you seek, of course somebody else playing may well have scored the same amount of goals but that didn't happen, so Dzekos late season form pushed us over the line.

Of course we could ask about all the shit analogies said about Dzeko being useless, when it is pretty much proven he isn't useless at all.

And without Negredo's form over the first half of the season we wouldn't have won the league.

And without Joeys save against blue dippers we might not have won the league.
And without the few disallowed goals against us we might not have won the league.
And without Sami's goal v Mackems we might not have won the league.
We could be here all fukn night.
We're the Champions,end of.
Edin, you sign that extension mate,I for 1 want you here for a while yet.

Groundhog season yet again with the factions ably led by Commander Matty and General Noise.

God help us all if Edin signs a new 5 year contract. The debate on this forum will rival the Napoleonic Wars in length and victims!

ps

I would be quite pleased if he did renew his contract (sorry Matty).

Just hoping the haters will give it a rest for awhile. Seriously, it's bad enough when other fans denigrating our club and players at other sites but to come back here and see people here putting down one of our own main guy at any little opportunity is heartbreaking.
Completely agree. Don't understand the debate; he scores really important goals and is a model professional. Sure he makes mistakes but so does every other player in the premier league! Surely by now he deserves 100% support?

He's always been supported at the match TBF. I think that you may need to accept that players aren't idolised by all on an internet footy forum and their performances, strengths and weaknesses will be discussed ad infinitum, it wasn't that long ago that some on here we're saying Zab wasn't good enough ;.)

Understand. Balanced analysis of strengths and weaknesses is good. Sometimes the debate about Dzeko seems to lack a bit of balance IMO. As a newby on here I may have got that wrong though! :-)

Re: Edin Dzeko

Top man yesterday and hopefully its given him the confidence he seems to need to play well. I like edin and hes scored some huge goals for us and will be delighted when its confirmed he has signed. Expect a few lamp post moments though as well throughout the season!

Re: Edin Dzeko

Excellent professional.
Took a lot of shit from Mancini at times and behaved impeccably.
He belongs here.

It's been better for a while honestly, but memories play a part. For a good long while, there were some very fervent Dzeko supporters who looked for any opportunity to take down our other players and they ranted endlessly about Dzeko rotating out for one match against inferior opposition post-Tottenham match in order to be rested for the Champions League. The worst seem to have got themselves banned. I wish he forum would go for a fresh start, though, when it comes to the player.

I seem to recall People getting banned for taking their support for Edin a bit too far but sweet FA happening to one or two loons who mocked the war in Bosnia.

Anyway, I'm more interested in what happens on the pitch and Edin was very good against the Geordies.
