Is anyone else thinking that if Arsenal are in for Dzeko then we might be getting Adebayor? I mean they're not going to play both together are they?

I know Dzeko looks quality and the German league is pretty good (unlike the Italian league) but surely a 25 year old prem proven player who got 30 goals in the 07/08 season and still managed 16 (and 8 assists) this season (which for him was a poor one) is a better deal.

I always felt a bit sorry for Bianchi. I got the impression that if we'd played two strikers up front consistently he'd have been fairly successful for us. Having said that he's gone back to Italy and done sweet FA, so maybe I'm not the genius of football analysis I thought I was.

I quite like the look of Dzeko, he seems big and powerful and with a pretty decent eye for goal. He would be ideal and comparatively cheap if the rumours about us signing/having signed Eto'o turn out to be false.

I'd rather him than Crouch any way. A 6ft 7in man who's shit in the air, useless.

all Im saying is,is that we could be one of the top teams in a few seasons and it would be a foolish agent to call us average...our past is set in stone but our future has yet to be sculptured ...so to speak.

Piss off... If you don't think that (with the resources City have) they will be playing in the CL in the next three years then you, my friend, are the one who is dreaming. The Gunners are extremely vulnerable... sure they may have CL next season (not that they'll ever win it) but perhaps not the season after. If City don't knock them out of the top four then Everton or Villa probably will. Christ they were lucky to quallify this season as Villa almost had them.
