Add to the two goals his shithousery timewasting that day.And the two at Everton in 2014 which essentially won us the league. We still sing the song. Edin was loved by matchgoers and still is.

Absolutely. And he was dropped the following week! The Spurs away ones for me. That was one of the best performances of any player in the entire premier league era. He was unstoppable and that goal that had Nasri totally flabbergasted was a peach.
Rested with an eye on the upcoming European game.Absolutely. And he was dropped the following week!
Use to get a lot of stick with his poor first touch and finishing but was a valued player who knew where the goal was unlike a few we have today
A few players need a run of games to get up to speed, unfortunately in today’s Premiership they’re not given the chanceHis first touch was poor when he wasn't starting regularly. When he got a run of games like late in in 13-14 it was decent enough.
B-b-b-but, it was only Spurs. The Spurs away ones for me. That was one of the best performances of any player in the entire premier league era. He was unstoppable and that goal that had Nasri totally flabbergasted was a peach.
I'm convinced that when he was running to our fans in celebration for the sixth goal on that glorious day, he turned around and shouted to Kolsrov, "how many"!

I think that has been the general consensus down the years.I'm convinced that when he was running to our fans in celebration for the sixth goal on that glorious day, he turned around and shouted to Kolsrov, "how many"!
Remember David Platt saying Edin scored "heavy goals". That summed it up for me.Apart from the obvious goal two always stick out in my mind.
Aston Vile at home in the pissing down rain, awful night even by Manchester standards, he got the first that night around the hour mark, nothing special just in the right place at the right time, that took the handbrake off and we cruised home 4 nil in the end - went on to clinch the title the following weekend.
Blackburn away 2011 - again right time right place, just after we had beaten the rags in the semi final - it capped off a great few days and the positivity that night in the stands was superb - think that goal guaranteed Chumps League for the first time?
He is and always will be a City legend in my eyes, loved him to bits at our place and his affection for the club seems to still be there.
Anyone remember the Milla wiggle?Edin is about to join a select group of players, who have appeared at the World Cup after their 40th birthday.
The list includes Pat Jennings, Roger Milla, Peter Shilton and Dino Zoff:
