Just for your benefit, I don't think that there are "uneducated, unwashed masses". However, if 'the masses' suddenly started openly supporting the likes of the EDL then I might reconsider my opinion. As it is, unluckily for you, they don't.

There were a group of EDL- City supporters at Swansea away a few weeks ago, saw a few tattoos and an EDL shirt. They extended their hatred towards Welsh people, I had to laugh!

These young men who believe the hate preached by Nick Griffin are just as bad as young muslims who believe Abu Hamza and co, both not wanted here.

Just a little FYI- the EDL and BNP hate each other more than they hate any minority- do not tar them with the same brush.

Tabloids have a lot to answer for with the rise of the EDL.

Many of their members spew the lies contained in tabloids as if they are fact.

Members of the EDL actually believe flags have been banned because of Muslims and they actually believe England football shirts have been banned because of Muslims.

All have been proven to be false and the newspapers involved did corrections, but you still see EDL members with tshirts saying "you don't like our flag f-off home'
