Very hard to assess but I would expect our players to be much more competitive at this level than they've shown tonight.
Physically they're not even trying. They look like little boys willing to get bullied. O'Reilly cruised through them first half which shows the technical and physical ability is in these lads to compete but their attitude is miles off.
Defending is non existent, we aren't bothering to track runners or put our bodies on the line.
And no one looks confident enough to show for the ball or run things.
A real lesson this and whilst the team is quite different it shows why we end up failing in the youth CL as well.
It's games like this that give Pep all the evidence he needs to not bother testing certain academy players.

Only JSP and O'Reilly even close to being good enough for the first team.
Really poor from the rest. Disappointing to not see them try anything or compete. .
I didn't expect them to win but at least lose with some pride intact.
