I enjoyed my first visit to the Minihad and standing behind the goal was a nice change despite nearly freezing to death.
On the subject of RB why isn't Maffeo a regular in that position, he always looks solid enough when I've seen him play there. As said already Bossaerts just doesn't cut it at RB and it was probably a blessing in disguise that he got injured early on.
Jack Byrne was impressive in an otherwise fairly average team display, the 2nd half especially seemed to deteriorate into a niggly foul-fest. Ambrose looks a bit wasted as a wide forward, I'd prefer to see him in the thick of the action in the middle. Pozo's confidence seems a bit shot at the moment, it's as if he's taken the negatives from his first team outings rather than the positives, a challenge for Paddy V to get him firing again.
Hopefully the lads can get back on track for the both the upcoming QFs as neither of them are gimmes - Roma put on a decent show at Hyde in the group stage and Crewe have just dumped the Gooners out.
