EE 4G Reception Matchdays?

I get 39 mbps at home on it and it's not fully rolled out here.
Your speeds will go down as traffic increases. The EE implementation is limited to 40mbps as a theoretical maximum under ideal conditions with a 1:1 contention ratio.
Thanks for your concern. You stay with 3g. Enjoy it.

I have picked up 40 mbps.

And 3g on 3 is about 10 mbps

So it's not poor really is it.
Average data rates on EE 4G in Manchester are 12mbps, taken directly from the mouths of the EE staff and seen in-store on their demonstration phones.

Three 3G is around 11mbps, but there is something in 4G phones called DC-HSPA+. This bridges two 3G connections, giving you double the data rate and incurs no extra cost. Notice how I said 10-20mbps?

If you have DC-HSPA+ on Three using a 4G phone you will see average connection speeds nearly double (22mbps) the average EE 4G speed (12mbps) and over half (22mbps) the theoretical maximum speed (40mbps) of the current LTE implementation. On a standard HSPA+ 3G phone you will see a speed slightly slower (11mbps) than the EE 4G average (12mbps).

So yes, 4G is probably a little faster given ideal conditions, but it's fairly similar under average conditions. Then consider that you are paying over £50 a month for 8GB of data (measly), compared to under £25 for unlimited data (unlimited).

As I said, EE 4G is pretty poor really.

Not worth the upgrade really with price it costs

Depends what you were already paying doesn't it.

I was using 2gb per month on 3g unlimited, the plan is the exact same cost, but limited to 5gb with 4g.

Why in the world would I not upgrade?

I'm not concerned about what you waste your money on, you've already proven yourself to be a mug for things with high price tags on other threads. What I'm concerned about is your misleading information convincing someone else to do the same.

You mean I am a mug as I have an iPhone?

Ok thanks. We have been through this.

You pay that because you are a mug and still think the iPhone is a good phone. Better phones on an unlimited Three plan are around £30 a month, which doesn't even get you 500MB of data on 4G.

Fuck me you are a bore.

It is a phone I am more than happy with and your shitty android or windows phone would not be compatible with my work apps for clients investments.

They are a mugs phone though and I have one haha.

As I'm already on an orange/ee contract, it won't cost anything to upgrade to 4G, for the same price ill just have 1gb a month less that I don't use anyway. Plus ill be able to use it at the match so seems worth upgrading to me
