EFL Playoffs time

There have been multiple allegations though from other clubs, not just Boro.

I think Southampton are screwed either way.

It was reported yesterday that even if everything goes ahead and get promoted, they could start with a points deduction if found guilty.
To be fair Gorby, despite my previous scepticism, this does seem to be heating up.
I had a little 'saver' on Boro to slightly hedge what would be a loss on my Soton bet to go up! Though, tbh, I thought Hull looked best of the 3 in second leg...

bolton getting run ragged but looks like might get away with it
??????

I must have watched a completely different 200 mins of the 2 ties then. Wanderers controlled both legs with Bradford having a decent 15 mins last night in the second half when they threw the kitchen sink as they had to in front of their own crowd.

The Bolton keeper only had to make one big save in the two ties and Bradford scored how many?

Bolton play too much football for that level and Stockport will probably over power them.

The whole thing is daft, it's a lad on his iPhone in a place he's allowed to be.

Fine them, warn them about future conduct. In no way should that be a sporting sanction.

He's not allowed to be. It's actually private land with signs, it's accessable but still private.

The rules clearly state things like filming another teams training within 72 hours is against the rules. Even if it was public land (which it isn't,), he's still breaking rules.

And it's not just a lad. He's a staff member in manager of the month photos with their manager

They should boot them out because other teams can just do it knowing the rewards far outweigh the risk. Potential PL money is far bigger than a fine.

They compromised the playoffs before it started.

Make example of them.

Private land where he'd bought a coffee and therefore was presumably allowed on there.

Not for me, fine and move on. Maybe a minor points deduction when they return to the championship. Kicking them out of the playoffs would essentially abe 10 point deduction, in no way is that consistent with the rules they have in place. Way too excessive.

Leeds got a £200k fine and theirs was far worse, as they deliberately tried to see over a fence intended for privacy.

Where he bought the coffee isn't the same place he was stood. Where he bought the coffee was the hotel nearby, owned by boro chairman. The land where is standing is private land.

Personally I'd make an example of them if its true that they have evidence they've done it repeatedly to other clubs. The playoffs were compromised before they started.

It may have affected the boro game. Now Hull have to also face a team that they may not have had to had they not been watching teams training sessions.

Then if Southampton go up...they'll get about £200m and a measly fine while possibly depriving clubs like boro and hull that opportunity when they played by the rules. Promotion is massive for those clubs but they didn't resort to scummy behaviour.

Football needs to stamp this shit out, blatant cheating because clubs know a fine will be a drop in the ocean compared to the money in the game.

Harsher punishments needed on a sporting level.

Grimsby and Notts County to contest the League Two final with both teams wearing their home kits to confuse the fuck out of everybody.
Or just Grimsby in the final to upset GNIAC and his mates.
Down ML tonight for 2nd leg I would love this final. You just know if Salford get to the final sky will have Neville in comm box to influence var which will be being used .
