Looking forward to Leeds & Burnley with their total football & wonderful fans back in the PL
Can't wait to hear "Marching On Together" at the Etihad..

As we stick five past them

And going to Turf Moor with its quaint wooden seats.

It'll be like the Land that Time forgot with Doug McClure :)

Clough jnr doesn't like to wander too far from his Midlands base. Forest, Derby, Burton, Mansfield. It must have been a huge shock to the system when he wound up at the city of culture, and eventually at us. He did have a short spell at both Sheffield clubs as well.

Strange pick for the live lunchtime game on the main channel. Newport (18th) vs Walsall (4th). Accrington (21st) vs Carlisle (23rd) would seem to have more at stake for both clubs.

And yes; I'm aware of Sky Sports+.

Could be a dark day for football today. L***s will go up if they beat Stoke (which they will) and Sheffield United don't beat Burnley, which they won't (Burnley concede fuck all goals.

Big call made by the officials in the 100th minute on what would have been a Walsall winner. Ball put in by the arm.

Like the old days the ref consulting with the linesman. Immediate decision.

100% correct decision. He clearly handled it in. From what I understand of the rules, if a player handles the ball and then goes on to score without any other player touching the ball, the goal is ruled out, even if the handball is accidental. Which it wasn't, in this case. He clearly deliberately handled it. Brilliant spot by the linesman.
