El Clásico

Ronaldo is missing in action, lots of people expect to see the so called best player in the World to dominate these games? I'm sure people are tuning in to see what the Ballon d'Or winner hype is all about.

Messi has 1 goal and 1 assist already, and you know he has a great chance to be the difference making with the scores 2-2.
CRonaldo was the best player in the world while Messi was injured.

Now the best player of all time is back and starting to get fully fit and fully confident; just wait for the World Cup. I think something special is about to happen in sky blue and white stripes.
If the rest of the team was any good maybe, they've no balance.

Because they can get away with it for most of the time. Masch has outperformed Pique of late (although that isn't saying much anymore). Ideally they need somebody like Puyol with fight in them, but they also need ball players in that position as well. They probably would have bought somebody last summer had they not paid all that money for Neymar. The summer previously Song was bought to play at both CDM and CB and hasn't impressed in either. Maybe they will throw money at one of the Brazilian defenders in the summer.

Only a matter of time before either them or Real come knocking for Kompany. He's too consistent to ignore.

Our toughest test in the next few years is keeping Kompany, Silva, Aguero and Toure. Crucial to our progress on the whole. Spurs just fell apart after selling both Modric and Bale.

Having a Mancunian missus and a child is a huge ball and chain.
Think he's said he is more than happy here. Silva, maybe aguero too I would expect to see go at some point, but I can see Kompany being the player to spend his career here, regardless of who comes in.

Why don't Barca buy a CB instead of persisting with Mascherano?

He's too good to be not playing for a team who gets to CL finals and he's 27. Same with Silva who is now 28. I'm not too worried about Yaya because he's been there and done all that and he's over 30. I think Yaya is ours until retirement.

But for the other two especially, and within a few years Kun (who is 26 so a few years left before it gets to the "time" for him), we need to make sure we recruit sufficiently this Summer because I wouldn't blame them if we don't and just have a similar season to this and they go to one of the giants.

Now's the time for us. We need to book our ideas up. We can't be shitting ourselves every time we get in Barça's (or whoever's) box and fluff chances because we've lost composure - it's time for us to join the elite!

Silva said today(in the mirror)he is used to rumours but he loves it here and is not leaving

Top game of football. Again Ronaldo goes missing in a big game still behind Messi for me as best in the world. Di Maria looks very good and Bale looks ordinary at best. Hope for more of the same 2nd half.

This is the correct answer.
Messi is a proper team player and Ronaldo just isn't. I also would prefer Messi i my team was under the kosh and needed someone to lead and dig deep.

I think Messi works harder and that's what it comes down to.

Could do with both him and Aguero finding Mancunian wives as well as VInny.

I am happy to step up and take one for the team if need be :)
