El Classico

Havent seen todays match but have seen most of reals this season and he’s not really playing midfield this season,he’s playing the dele Alli role of hybrid striker/10.

What’s incredible is that he can play pretty much every midfield position as well, which we saw at Dortmund.
Having watched Dortmund when he was there, I’d say he’s better just staying up the field. Controlling things and such, not for him. An SS, AM…I’ll say that’s where he should play. Great movement in the box for sure.

Of course he can play as an 8 but I don’t think you get the best out of him there.

I agree with you.

Bellingham can technically play anywhere in midfield, but his instincts to score goals makes him far suited higher up.

Playing behind a striker or strikers is his best position.

Not cool Vini Jr.

You complain about fans abusing you then do that.

I know he gets some racial abuse which is absolutely disgraceful and that needs to stamped out but it doesn't change the fact he is still a right little shithouse.

He spent most of the game looking for a free kick or penalty when the easier option would have been to just play football.

The hype is of course over the top as it always is with English players but you've got to say what Bellingham has done there so far has been very impressive.

Whether it continues remains to be seen but I don't think any other English player bar maybe Kane would be able to turn up at a club like Real Madrid with that price tag and live up to the expectation in the way he has.

Agree about him playing behind a striker.

Haven’t watched England in a long while but I’d say it would work really well if Kane wasn’t usually deep. As there isn’t a player up top to play off of. As more often than not, Kane isn’t up top.

I know it’s part of his game but that’s where you need players comfortable with the ball at their feet playing behind him. Anyhoo, enough about England.
