Having watched Dortmund when he was there, I’d say he’s better just staying up the field. Controlling things and such, not for him. An SS, AM…I’ll say that’s where he should play. Great movement in the box for sure.

Of course he can play as an 8 but I don’t think you get the best out of him there.

Which is why unfortunately Foden will continue to be overlooked for England if Bellingham and Saka are fit. In my opinion, Phil is more talented than both but currently Bellingham is a better number 10 and Saka is a better out and out winger. On the plus side, at least there's less chance of him getting injured on international duty.

watching this match just shows me how close we are to actually winning UCL again. Madrid are incredibly mediocre team with no idea or cohesion, and Barca are just too slow, unphysical and unclutch. PSG is always a mess, Bayern are in a similar level to last season, and there is no Liverpool. Honestly, only Inter and maybe Atletico (they are just really annoying in K.O) would be hard matches for us, I think.

I know it’s selfish of me to think but him being fit and fresh for City will do for me.

Bellingham is class but Madrid look very poor. Barcelona are shit also Gundogan should have stayed here.

Watching this game give me loads of confidence to retain the Champions League at Wembley.

Exactly my point mate. Should've sorted his contract out long before. Can't complain about much these days but that was a fuck up.

There was plenty on here who flagged him up when he was at Birmingham. It wasnt as if he was under the radar either.
