I don't think there's a question over his fitness anymore - he works his bollocks off. I agree with the rest of what you put though. I slated Elano at the time and stand by evrything I said, he was being a total ****. He seems to have got his head down and is working harder now and performing much better. I still think he's got a way to go to adapt to the prem but I'df really like to see him get a few starts with SWP suspended, he deserves it

It's about time Elano's given a chance to play in a more attacking role than he's been played in for us this season because for me Elano is a much better player when he's played in a more attacking role. Against West Ham at the start of the season he was outstanding in the role behind the striker and he's not really been given a chance to play in a role like that for most of this season which is a shame because i believe he's got the ability to be a top player

Edit - He also played away at Blackburn where he didn't play well

I stand corrected about Wigan, but I was trying to find the games where Ireland didn't play aswell for the daft Ireland v Elano thread.
