Elano: I loved City

There was quite obviously a clash of personalities between Elano and Hughes, and in that situation Hughes was always going to be the winner. Elano clearly would have done any job asked of him IF he'd been on more personable terms with the manager, just watching his performances at right back for Sven goes to prove that.

In this situation I don't think there's anyone that's 1005 to blame, or 100% guilt free. Both parties could probably have handled it better. I wish Elano luck at Galatasaray, when he was on form he was an awesome player, but it just wasn't going to work out for him at City and moving on was the best solution for both parties.

It's the Sun!!! so I don't think I'll take to much notice.

I loved Elano's style of play, but Hughes is building a top four side and Elano wasn't happy to sit on the bench.
(to be commended in a player) He's moved on and was quoted as saying Hughes was okay with him.

Those quotes seem a bit anti Hughes to me all part of the pressure the press are going to put on next season.

Top man!!

How is he a top man. You seem to love anyone that says nice things about us.

He said he loved us, wanted to stay, had very good times here and expects Hughes to win the league.

Left on good terms, that's why he is a top man.

More digs at Hughes in the press. Sad little twat.

Are you still upset he ignored you when you wanted his autograph? There's no digs at Hughes.
