Elano

Can I just underline as well? It doesn't matter if only one came in for Elano(and I do believe a club in Spain and Italy made enquires and were rebuffed), the fact is, if Hughes wanted rid so desperately, he'd have offered him out on loan and put him in the reserve team. Neither has happened.

So, that's one-a-piece for both sides of the argument, isn't it?

Elano's a good squad player - so the only reason I would see to get rid of him is if he was still causing trouble. He's obviously not, and has accepted that with Stevie Ireland in the form he's in, and Hughes' penchant for playing two more "solid" midfielders, he's going to struggle to start week in and week out.

My criticism of Elano came directly from his interview which was totally naive and unnecessary, and the word of a certain player who basically stated that Elano was piss taker in training and was trying desperately along with a few others to undermine him.

Frankly, the debates about whether he's world class or not seem pretty pointless to me. If Elano were THAT good, with all reports of him being unsettled, at least one top top club would've taken a punt on him. Arsenal, for example, would have found it much easier to do business with us over him than over Stevie...

Keep the insults flying, brave keyboard warrior.

It really was worth your while keeping this thread alive...;- )

I suppose what the Hombre should do is a take leaf out of your book and send you a PM calling you a sad rag prick...and asking what your fucking problem is?

It's worth keeping this thread bumped to illustrate your hate campaign against Elano.

As for your bumchum Hombre he can't make his mind up. In this thread:

Elano is a cnut and doesn't have the strength of character or bottle/courrage to succeed in the prem.

He's just like veron was and needs to go abroad where he can prance about like a little fairy and spray long balls about

Err yea, actually. Listen, I haven't got a personal vendetta against Elano, I think he's fucking quality.

I don't think anyone's doubted that Elano is a quality footballer.

Sorry Billy, but your argument about who came in for him falls VERY flat!! It was not City's disclosure about the Barcodes coming in for him, it was theirs, otherwise we'd know nothing of it. the only time we'll know something, is either when the club decide to let us know, or if another club claim an attempt.

City, now, is trying to be a private dealing club. So your speculation doesn't work.

You're a fine one for talking about sending pm's!

You must be confused young Jay.

We all send PM's...

It's just rare that you receive a PM out of the blue which consists of six or seven words including fucking, prick, rag, and, you....

Anyway - jog on boy. I seem to recall you posting so vehemently in recent weeks that you avoid my posts...I suggest you continue doing that as I clearly regard you in the same cretinous "spotty little student" league as Disturbed....

Newcastle wanted Elano and Onuoha, as well as Johnson. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.fansfc.com/story/6137.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.fansfc.com/story/6137.html</a>
The fact that they are all still at City must mean that they feature in Hughes' plans.

Why don't you post that in a pm? I have no idea what you're on about saying I'm avoiding you, you just must be not posting as much utter shite as you usually do. 'Spotty little student' is that right? Nearly 27 years old and 15st would beg to differ. Aren't I a big boy!!

Shock horror! Speculation on a messageboard...LOL.

Sorry if I seemed to be intimating that I was speaking in total facts. Of course I can't be certain...the proof of the pudding as they say...but I stand by what I said in January and say now. Elano's next move will be a step down from us...not one up.

LOL. Now I really do feel sorry for you.

Anyway. I see you've gone back to lying when it suits you so we'll leave it at that shall we.

With respect, that issue has been addressed already. Mr Shears claims ONLY Newcastle enquired/ came in for Elano(that's the discussion) and I said how do you know that for fact? He doesn't. But, it's the ONLY proof he has as the Toons declared it.

No other club has and what would be the point other than to demonstrate to the fans that they've made an 'effort' to sign players! Twitchy was quite adept at it whilst at Pompey.

But...

I post FACT and you post SPECULATION!!

That's not like you!! I sense a weakness in your make up, my good chap!
