If you stopped posting things that obviously aren't true people might not say you know nothing about football.

strange but my thoughts echo those of the national press, and the 2 major broadcasters from yesterdays game.

did you go?

did you go v forest?

do you go away ever?

in fact tell me the last game elano ran, especially away, where his influence won the game, because thats what playmakers do?

he has talent, but we are seeing it in very sporadic bursts.

So the press said he's never put a tackle in ever? You go ahead and slag him off, plenty of City fans trying to make him the new boo boy, let's ruin another player. But at least get your facts right, you won't even admit you're wrong just ask more questions.

And yes I was there against Forest where Elano was one of the only ones trying to make things happen compared to shit like Sturridge, Hamann and Gelson.[/quote]

the forest game, where he walked over to take a corner, when we were 2-0 down that kind of urgency, like he did yesterday.

its difficult to debate with you, i have never booed him, i am questioning his contribution.

i asked you reasoned questions, but the reallity is, you cannot answer them, you are comparing his contribution to hamman and fernandez, why, those 2 are never going to be the future of city.

so tell me, what does he bring to the party, and use illustrations to back up your points

i accept there is talent there, early last season, he was a revelation, but for a long time now, he has offered very little, and i cannot see that changing, certainly not with his body language.

tell me what system you would play him, who would play around him, how you would free him up to be effective, and for the team not to suffer due to his obvious lack of competiviness shall we say.

contrary to what you think, i would love him to prove me wrong, but having spent a small fortune at pompey yesterday, going to copenhagen in the week, and liverpool on sunday, i think i am entitled to say it as i see it, unless you tell me otherwise.

You're entitled to your opinion, but if you post stuff that is factually wrong (Elano doesn't tackle) then expect to be pulled up on it. I've posted before the best position to use Elano in but don't really feel like typing it all out again.

No, you posted a lie and I corrected it. Why I do I personally need to justify his inclusion in the side? I'm not typing everything out again. YOU can start by reading this thread in full and then tell me who in our squad would've been better off starting on Saturday.

Been searching for that all night have you? It's only a year old. You said he doesn't/can't tackle, big difference.
