CLASS. He was great, he could hold up the ball and pass it - what we needed from the first minute of this game. Don't know if Hughes has a personal vendetta or if he just figured that Vass's physicality would be better suited for this game (hope the latter, I'd like to think they've put their differences behind them but I don't know).

i thought he had a mare today. No cutting edge at all. One moment of class down on the left wing but apart from that he was really poor

i agree in part. i dont think he was CLASS, but he certainly tried to make things happen. on another day, he could of made a goal or two.

he needs to play week in week out, hughes need to put his personal issues to one side and start him! END OF!

He was class, for about a minute after he came on, from then he was utter pish. Did nothing except give the ball away the second he tried to pass it forwards.

didnt have a good game but that being said he was miles better than vass was today and anyone who disagrees is talking out of their arse quite frankly.

True but he needs the games to get him going, and he hasn't been given that time. Though to be fair he has been invisible at times earlier this season, but I still think he should be a regular no doubt.

I thought he looked like a player that did not want to play for the manager but he was still great when he came on. If Vassell starts ahead of him i will fucking flip.

Thought he lacked any urgency

are you for real? he tried to make things work, because he dont run with it liek a headless chicken.....dont mean he has no urgency. he is a cultured player and plays a different style and looks to break down players. we were 10x better team with him on, which resulted in SWP wide.

anyone else notice on one close up, that he looked really bog eyed....wonder if he is getting sleepless nights with the little one....not sure if his wife is home

He needs to do better. Hughes won't wait thats for sure. He's on thin ice.

We'ra better attacking at pace. He just jogged about

Thought he gave us some much needed spark, ok his passing was a bit iffy, maybe was trying too hard at times.

I can barely remember any attacks in the first half, let alone any at pace :-(

Fuck me how can people criticise him. He is class. But there were no real options at the end. No width and he knows that there is little point putting in high balls to Benji.

We were 10x better second half without those two lemons.

i think we're just gonna have to face reality that hughes has fallen out with elano, doesnt rate him at all, which is why vass starts every game and he's going to be sent on his way in january or next summer definitely he's gone. sadly, i think he's a top lad and needs to have a run of games from now until january to prove himself because vass is fucking shocking.
