I thought he was much improved today. Lets hope it's not just his monthly sighting, and he turns up again against Blackburn...

His passing was simple and effective, he worked incredibly hard, and generally linked the play up very well.

Much was made of his perceived mauling by the press this week, but it clearly didn't effect his game in a negative way...

I thought he played like he always does. Apart from the racing game where he really was poor, i haven't seen the terrible performances others have seen. And I have watched every game.
 
Played very well today. Can't help but notice he still has this "billy big boots" attitude though.

Was very good and effective as he has been in a number of games this season.

I thought Hughes comments a day or so ago suggested maybe that an olive branch has been offered, I was very surprised and pleased to see Elano in the team today. Hope it continues.
 
Really didn't expect to see him in the side, but he played well today. Looks like we've worked on some corners between him and Ireland as well.

Agreed. Another myth in football and amongst blues is that Elano doesn't work hard....
