How so? In the first half he had more of the ball than all of the other midfielders, and he was using it better than all of the other midfielders bar Ireland.
SWP was apalling all day, Robinho was appalling for most of the match, Ireland was average at best on the day, Kompany was OK.
So why exactly do you have to single out Elano?

Seriously though...he was shit. Yes, so were SWP, Ireland, et al - but this thread, last time I checked was about Elano. He was shit today. As he has been in many games in 2008. With respect, stick your stats where the sun don't shine for all I care...I believe what I see.
I've seen enough shit performances from him to safely say that when he leaves us, his next career move will be downwards...
