Electricity Bills

You can manage your Eon account online, and provide them with meter readings whenever you want.

It might be worth while going on to pay as you go meters like what me and Bri are on, with British Gas for both gas and electric. You can nip across the road to that bargain shop to top up and then you use what you’ve paid for, and can keep a closer eye on it. It may work out a bit more expensive, however, you’re not being slapped with estimates or being fucked around with extra charges, and then if you leave the flat, you won’t be slapped with another charge, claiming you owe them more when you leave.

When me and the ex left our flat a few years ago, N-Power slapped us with a £375 bill, stating we had gone over their estimate etc. So, learning from that, when me and Bri leave our current flat, we won’t get any additional charges, and being on pre pay, we’re only paying for what we use, and top up once a fortnight.

The thing that annoys me a bit though, is being on pre pay, you’re more conscious of what you are using, so it makes you more efficient on using less electricity, so surely you should be rewarded for this, and actually pay less??
