The thing I like about him is that he is never hiding. He makes big mistake, he's crap with the ball but he'll never hide and will make himself available when we're bringing the ball from the back.

He has the balls but unfortunately, the ability seems to have missed him :(

Remember his debut against the Chavs he had Costa in his back pocket all the game , thought we had signed a proper defender then tonight he was bullied by a 19 year old kid , absolutely shocking performance , and no excuses , he just isnt good enough

his problem is the lack of ability to control the ball. without the ball he is the much stronger than he showed against that boy tonight. But not being able to control the ball and in full sprint he puts his body in so many unnatural positions and loses most of his strength. He'd probably be ok in wolves team tonight but playing the high line we do, he's just not good for that.

Honestly don't know how we manage to find the worst possible situations to put him in. Every time we decide to play some absolute liability at LB, we throw Mangala in at LCB and then watch him flail around trying to do two jobs, when he's never even shown he's capable of doing one job for us. Has to be said though, both there chances came from blatant fouls on him, but even still it seems to follow him around. Absolutely bereft of confidence and he's never going to get it back here, the sooner we sell him to someone who plays with a more orthodox defence the better as he's not up to our weird all over the place style of defending and his head goes once things start getting hectic

I thought he was good. It was his first game in ages so I was expecting some rustiness. Plus he was besides Tosin who is just a kid and very very slow LB.

I don't think Otamendi would have been any better or worse had he played instead.

Can't believe I got banned for slagging him off, being told by the mod who banned me that he was gonna be the next Vincent Kompany, and one of the best defenders in the world. Mangala seems a nice guy, doesn't hide away from the ball, but he's not good enough for this level sadly.

I hope we prioritise a CH in January.

It's obvious that he will only go to Inter, thus denying us any fee, while we carry on paying him till his contract finally runs out.

Will go down in history as our worst VFM buy.

He's an accident waiting to happen at best.
