Have you not seen him play in a city shirt before?. So I won’t draw any conclusions from this match towards Mangala other than he had his mistakes as many others had them.

i wish Nastasic still here instead of wasting money buying Mangala.
as long as i remembered, City spent all the budget on him, during FFP sanction.
On viewing the replay I think that it's a foul - the striker shoves Mangala in the back as the play develops. But the linesman has a clear view and didn't flag for a foul and the ref is looking at the play too, albeit from further back.
There's some continued jockeying for the ball as the play develops which on first viewing I thought was also a foul. Later on in the replay there's another camera angle from behind the goal. It doesn't show the first part of the play, but it does show the subsequent jockeying; from the 2nd angle, this part of the play looks OK to me.
So, I guess that neither the linesman nor the ref thought that the initial shove from the striker was a foul. For me, there's enough contact that a foul should have been given.
Replay can be seen here:
Most telling thing is foul or not do you think any of the other central defenders we have would be so easily beaten. After the foul his recovery was terrible. His positional sense is naive to say the least - something you'd expect from a youngster not a full blown international. Clear to me that the sooner he is shipped out the better.Cheers, yep definitely a foul, he jumps into his back.

The only player in that group with anywhere near the same amount of consistent calamities as Mangala is Bravo. And would I want him back after him playing well in one match? Er, no. Mangala has proved he’s not to be trusted in defence over a few seasons so saying you can’t judge him is silly. Course you can, you’ve seen enough of the lad.Yes. And Delph. And Bravo. And Otamendi before his streak of games with Stones. Get my point?
Mangala is a up there with our biggest waste of money of all time on a £ for £ basis. I would be shocked if we get any money at all for him when he leaves. I'm sure he is a nice lad but he is completely out of his depth here.
