I was all in favour of keeping him in the summer and much preferred him to signing Jonny Evans. However, the guy is shite and in a set up like ours he has no redeeming qualities.

I wish him well and it must be tough knowing that Pep clearly doesn't want him. He also says the right things and behaves in the correct manner but sadly that doesn't make up for his lack of quality.

I know people love to slag him off, but did Shaktar genuinely have a single attack down his side all game? A couple of bad passes, but other than that I thought he covered the entire left hand side pretty well all things considered

Will go on loan if we sign a CB in January.

I can't see Pep being happy when he has to play him.

Just not suited to this style of play.

It was, just like his attempt to tackle Arnautavic was at the weekend.

Sadly, he is a walking disaster and every game he plays he seems to gift the opposition a gilt edge chance. We cannot afford to carry players like that and I think Pep's reaction against West Ham said it all really, as did the press conference where Mangala basically admitted that he has no long term future here.

You don't normally see an under-performing player put in so much effort, that's what's making it painful.

Couple of bad passes? Did you even see the direct pass he made to one of their attackers which nearly led to a goal? FFS!

Thought he covered some ground tonight, such a makeshift back line he was always going to have to work hard, there were plenty of others who didn't quite set the world on fire and positives for the youngsters but in general I thought he played well.
