It's just incredible that this debate keeps going on. He is terrible, and so far below what we require that it's astonishing he's a part of our squad. How many errors does he have to make, how many shocking performances does he have to deliver before we all agree on this?

I've never said he should start on Sunday. Just that people are too quick to get on his back and judge him unfairly compared to how they judge other players.

I get that people want to back him to come good but he ain’t ever gonna cut it here. Not his fault really, he’s just not a Pep player and doesn’t have the tools to become one. Hopefully will do enough in the few games he plays between now and the dnd of the season to get himself a move that suits both parties.
Talk of him being a scapegoat and other such nonsense is just that - nonsense. He’s lacking in too many areas, that’s the simple truth.

Any “actual City fan “ wouldn’t be having a go at any player wearing a City shirt. Some so called City fans are becoming more like Rags with every game that passes this season.

It’s a squad game and even with our first 11 we don’t have world class players in every position. Few of our second 11 are even close to being world class.

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect every “ actual City fan “ to get behind those players who don’t get a run in the team but are bizarrely expected to perform at the same level as those playing regularly.

Mangala is not shit/ terrible/ a liability and anyone who has supported City for more years than just the last decade can remember players with far less ability who never gave the commitment we see from Mangala.

We had to get behind them because they were the best we could get at the time. They were all “our team” .

Sometimes we seem to forget just how privileged we are now to have more than just the odd world class player in “our team” !
