Seen this and laughed
Haha.

Kane didn't get a sniff out of either CB.

Guardiola makes footballers, so many have improved under him this year (and last - Kolarov).

Looked solid today. He got the right side of his opponent a couple of times which is invaluable because he is not blessed with pace when I wrongly thought he was fast, which he isn't but he is reasonable on the ball and could suit dealing with aerial threats from our bombarding opponents.

Had a chance to watch the game back...you didn't even notice him. I'm not blessed with a lot of tactical knowledge but that's a huge compliment coming from me I think.

Think pep could turn manga into a pretty solid player if he needed too. Was great today for sure. Starting to feel like van dijk will come though. Should be impossible to turn down and him stones could form some partnership

So where do you fit Otamendi, who's arguably been our best CB this season?

I think that if we go into the market for a CB, it'll be because Kompany can no longer be relied on at all. Maybe more of a passing CB who could also deputise at LB or DM, relieving some of the pressure on Delph and Fernandinho at the moment.

Otamendi has been immense this season at both ends of the pitch, not been his biggest fan in seasons past but he really has improved a lot this season for me, Stones, Otamendi the number 1 pair atm, Mangala as back up and who knows about VK right now ?

I think there's clearly a ceiling on how much of a "pep" player he can become, but you can see he has been adapting and improving over the past few weeks. Even though half our fans completely freak out whenever he gets the ball, his team mates trust him and he's making a valuable contribution. It's not been easy for him at City but I'm glad he's had an opportunity to be part of what's shaping up to be a very special season.

He has been good the last couple of games after that shaky performance against West Ham so fair play to him. I thought he could perhaps have done a bit better for their goal but the game was done so no harm done.
