Mangala ignoring transfer rumours linking him with utd or city and holding out for a move to Chelsea according to the Daily star.

What is it with them? We're champions not Chelsea, we can pay more too. Why don't players consider us a top choice?

So gutted missing out on Fabregas to those bastards as well, we seriously need to strengthen if we're going to stop them winning the league next season. While Sagna is a decent squad player we really need to sign someone better than what we have to improve the team. It's not like we won by a big margin this season, if we don't match our rivals we'll struggle to finish above Chelsea with the signings they're making.

Or Jorge Mendes is Mangala's agent as well as Mourinho's in addition to a number of players who end up playing for Mourinho. Coincidentally Tiago is a client of Mendes who is set to return to Chelsea.

We finished above Chelsea and lost home and away to them. Improve those results and we will still be in with a shout. We have the right balance between defense and attack - Chelsea don't. It's easy to buy more attacking players but will Maureen trust them and as they become more offensive will they start to leak goals. Roman only brought Maureen back because he wanted more domestic silverware and had few other options open to him - if Chelsea don't start well - Roman might get twitchy - he's not known for his patience or being tolerant of big ego's.

Which also published an item about how the sun rose in the east this morning. And I disbelieved that on account of the source.

Mangala did express an interest in going to Chelsea at one point in front of a microphone and I think that's about all the truth there is in this rumour. Wouldn't be shocked to see him end up there but wouldn't be shocked if he ended up somewhere else either.

I concur, and my rag detecting instincts have been honed over many years. 323 posts to his name though, so full marks for effort..........

Let's be honest. Although the champions league gets sneezed upon here, many players actually value it. And Chelsea has a much better record in that department. We are stronger domestically though without a doubt.
