Re: Eliaquim Mangala

Mirror
City's move for Eliaquim Mangala, could be scuppered by late interest from Ligue 1 rivals Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain.

According to Le 10 Sport, both clubs are willing to meet FC Porto's £45million pricetag and would offer him a significant wage increase to lure him to France.

Manuel Pellegrini's side remain favourites to land the 22-year-old but the offer of a return to his homeland - in a World Cup year - could sway his decision.

Re: Eliaquim Mangala

I don't want him for 45 million. I can't believe any side however much money they have would pay that much for a 22 year old with no experience in a proper league.

There is very very little on SSN

The numbers being talked about for this deal would make these signings one of the biggestthis window but there seems to be fuck all

Agree, its not my money but it seems a ridiculous fee for a 22 year old.

unfortunately PSG paid around 30 million for Marquinhos last year from Roma and he was only 18, leading Porto to believe that since their lad has played in more than 6 games and made more than 10 tackles that they can add at least an extra 50% on top.
I thought these buy outs were supposed to be linked to wages in Portugal, he has 2.5 years left on his contract IIRC, highly doubt they're paying him 18 million a year.

Correct,too much money.

Fernando would be a great signing though as if we cant get a CB we need someone to help protect the back 4.

A centre mid is much more important imo, if Fernandinho gets an injury we are fucked.
