As long as we have delays and have media jumping on this story(another copied below)....its normal to question if it really is a done deal.Maybe City were thinking it was but something has since happened..from a PR standpoint it makes sense for City to get it official!!!:)

Chelsea and Man Utd muscle in on Man City's £32m Eliaquim Mangala move

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/488254/Chelsea-and-Man-Utd-muscle-in-on-Man-City-s-32m-Eliaquim-Mangala-move?utm_medium=twitter" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football ... um=twitter</a>

CHELSEA and Manchester United are looking to hijack Manchester City's £32million move for Porto and France star Eliaquim Mangala.

The 23-year-old centre-back is set to leave Portugal this summer after a fee was agreed with Manuel Pellegrini's side, but the Frenchman has previously stated that he wants to join Jose Mourinho in west London instead.

Chelsea are in the market for a new defender after selling David Luiz to Paris St-Germain for a whopping £50million, and Mangala would fit the bill perfectly.

City are still confident that they can still wrap up the move, with Roma's Mehdi Benatia their fall-back option, but things could become more complicated after fierce rivals Man Utd threw their hat in ring.

The Red Devils have lost Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand on free transfers, and after Barcelona expressed their desire to land Borussia Dortmund's Mats Hummels, Louis Van Gaal is hoping he can convince Mangala to pick Old Trafford over the Etihad.

However, both Chelsea and United will be expected to match City's £32million offer on the table, leaving Mangala to decide between the English trio.

Does last week know you've got it's 'news' ;.)

I heard they lost the pen so he couldn't actually sign. But they all shook hands and said he'd sign when he gets back off holiday as they were going to do a big order of pens from Viking so he could go on holiday while the pens were shipped.

Might be unpopular but I still think he'd go Chelsea if the offer was on the table, that's what worries me, Benatia would jump at the chance to move here.
He'd also have jumped at the chance to sign for United before joining Roma, does that mean he'd go there if we both made him an offer?

The deal is done, he's signing. I take that at face value that he wants to come and play here.

It's like Liverpool fans saying Aguero would jump at the opportunity to sign for them because he said he once cheered them on in the CL final..

No doubt on RAWK Aguero in line with all top players is a Dipper fan with the obligatory YNWA tattoo.
