Yes, it's from the Falcao article in one of the Daily Shits. They've made up a story about us signing Falcao & then shown their own story to be ridiculous by explaining how we can't because we will have spent our budget.

I can't believe people are still thinking that what goes in the media round up is information from the club.
Portugal News Online saying he has signed for £50m and has a quote from the player stating he will give his all for Manchester City

Correction - the quote is from Fernando but they say Mangala has also signed

Porto plundered by Manchester City

Manchester City have snapped up Brazilian Fernando and Frenchman Eliaquim Mangala from FC Porto for 55m.

City were strongly linked with a double deal for the 26-year-old and his team-mate Eliaquim Mangala in January but a move did not materialise, and Fernando instead penned a new contract with Porto.
“City fans can be assured I will give my all, every time I play, and I’m looking forward to many happy years in Manchester. I have enjoyed my stay with Porto and I thank the club and the fans for their support during my time in Portugal. Now I am ready for a new chapter in my career,” said Fernando who moved to Porto in 2007 from Brazilian club Vila Nova, and - after a loan spell with Lisbon club Estrela da Amadora - went on to win the Portuguese title four times while adding two Portuguese Cups and a UEFA Europa League medal.
The arrival of Fernando gives Pellegrini an extra midfield option in addition to Yaya Toure, Fernandinho and Javi Garcia. Eliaquim Mangala, 23, will be Manuel Pellegrini’s fourth foreign signing this summer and City now have nineteen overseas players over 21 years-of-age - clubs are limited to seventeen - breaking the quota on overseas players permitted in a Premier League squad. They will have to offload a few or not register them under Premier League rules.
FC Porto have two pre-season friendlies in England: at Everton on 3 August and in the Midlands against West Bromwich Albion on 9 August.

I've just taken this from MCFC Website....

“Quite how City would fund a move for Falcao given the implications in terms of Financial Fair Play - particularly having already landed Eliaquim Mangala and Fernando from Porto - now remains to be seen.”

Seems like just awaiting confirmation from the club.

You taken it from the media round up

Correct but that quote wasn't part of any direct quotes from the rags but actually from MCFC themselves as part of the media round up - this has subsequently been removed....
