Re: Eliaquim Mangala

Either Mangala or Benatia will arrive this summer. Of that I have no doubts.
The club will have identified the areas for improvement and will release the funds necessary.

He keeps dragging his feet? Fine then. Let him be and promote Rekik.

Who does he think he is with that kind of attitude.

WTF he is on holiday as are all of the world cup players

I know! I don't know where these ideas about his "attitude problem" come from? He said he'd prefer living in London a couple of months ago and hasn't said much else. Some ITK's have already said it's a done deal. I guess people expect Mangala to get on his laptop, log on to Bluemoon and soothe everyone's nerves? :)

Re: Eliaquim Mangala

Anyone else think that the time this transfer is taking to conclude is actually working in our favour?

Once we seal this deal, without selling anyone it is game over in this transfer window. Whilst I think that the overall plan for this window was to bring in the players we have plus Mangala, the way the window is shaping up there could be one or two surprises. I mean it's almost certain that all of our targets were identified before the World Cup. However, before the tournament there was no way Madrid would have signed Rodriguez hence leaving Isco available.

Whilst we would still be in the same position when Mangala is announced, the fact we still technically have £32 million to spend puts us in a stronger position to negotiate potential deals.

This transfer is going so slow.
