Wouldn't be completely surprised if there was *a bit* more to this than meets the eye. It's perfectly conceivable that a randomer on Twitter accidentally came across the video, sure, but not sure it's really a massive conspiracy theory to suggest that perhaps the club are a bit fed up with the representatives of either the player, Porto or third parties and so released the video on the sly to put a bit of pressure on them or warn off potential late bids from elsewhere. Not sure it's the sort of clanger post-Cook City would drop to be honest.

Unfortunately mate Txiki and Ferran don't work in the media department. It's perfectly conceivable the web guys overlooked something.

Would serve little purpose for us. It may hasten a resolve but if it went wrong other clubs would see as desperate for a replacement and hike prices. Plain old cock up I think.

So it was the third party owners who deftly hacked the MCFC firewall and exposed the transfer to the whole world to speed up the delivery of their percentage of the loot.
